Doggie bags in Europe

“No one has doggie bags, so don’t even ask. (Although a friend of mine showed some cleavage and got one. Once.)” There. David said it. As an American living in Paris, he’s warning fellow-Americans about restaurant ettiquette in Paris. Believe me, it’s like that all over Europe, live with it!

You should blog your story about getting doggie bags in the U.S.

Hm, not quite sure which story you are referring to. Why don’t you tell us all about it?

Of course, portion sizes in Europe (France in particular) haven’t quite gotten out of control like in the US, which reduces the need for a doggie bag in the first place.
