Sophie en ik hebben onze NC blog nog niet helemaal afgemaakt (schaam), we hebben er steeds geen zin in om die laatste paar dagen te updaten. Maar ik ga het dit weekend doen, is wel zo leuk, want nu mist er gewoon een heel stuk.

Ik heb jouw fotopagina bekeken, en wooowie wat heb jij veel foto’s zeg! Heb je ook foto’s van Chappel Hill en je kamer enzo? Dat vind ik namelijk echt leuk om te zien! Ik heb uiteraard nog niet alle fotopagina’s gezien, want het zijn er uber veel, haha.

Indeed, it's nice to gather around to some good food, especially when there's opportunity to talk about your home country with people at the same table. Just today, a new Turkish student told me that he was getting ill because of all the bad food over here. I think that is a bunch of nonsense, there's nothing more satisfying (and soothing) to prepare some decent food in your own kitchen, and very often it's really easy too!</p> <p>I need to make frieten soon, though. I love cooking when I have the time and I'm glad there are fellow-countrymen/women who keep up the tradition.
