Bravo Mark & Bruce! I just returned from a night out with me myself and I at Talulla’s, a Chapel Hill local favorite dancing place. I got to talk to some known people and some newly-met people, but I have to admit that I had the most fun dancing to tonight’s music. Mark & Bruce were tonight’s DJs, spicing up what they call the ‘International Dance Party’ with ‘international club hits’. It helps that Mark was actually raised in Stuttgart, Germany, which means that I was able to recognize quite a few club hits from my younger years in Belgium — we’re talking the end of the nineties here and the early years of this century, not the eighties! And I was pleasantly surprised by some pretty excellent unknown groovy/funky house tunes!

Tonight was a blast, it reminds me I need to stop feeling old (because face it, I’m not, really) and start doing this kind of stuff more often again…
