Crying baby ads pulled
Saturday, June 16th 2007.Opposite to what I promised, this not a Portland post, but a little intermezzo. Some new ads for the Belgian game show Blokken (Eng: Blocks) will not be shown on national TV. Bringing tears to kids’ eyes is not something you should do. Don’t you agree? I think I do. The wonders of free speech through YouTube allows us all to decide for ourselves: meet Louis, Florentin and Noha [via].
Breaks my heart.

Man, that is mean!
It says something in white letters towards the end. What does it say?
‘t is geen leven zonder blokken
Free translation would be: life sucks without blocks (litteraly: it’s no life without blocks). Remember, Blocks or Blokken is the name of the program. It’s a quiz (?) show.
