Chromeo plays the Portland crowd
Sunday, July 22nd 2007.
It had been a while since I’d been to a music event… Yesterday’s Chromeo’s concert at Rotture reminded me how much I really enjoy a good show. I only recently got to know this crazy Canadian duo (kudos to Josh!) but I’ve quickly grown addicted to their accessible electrofunk groove. Last night, they drove the Portland crowd, including me, into ecstasy as our sweaty bodies were dancing into the night. This quote about attending a Chromeo event hits the nail on the head:
Live, Chromeo is more fun than being forced to smoke crack at gunpoint by Rick James.
What a rush! If you would like to find out what they sound like check out their site and myspace pages, or find an mp3 of Needy Girl here. For my European and Belgian friends, be sure to check them out, they’re heading to Europe in August, coming to Feest in het Park in Oudenaarde on August 26th. Check it out, it will be worth it!
